Vietnamese Canadians

The Canadian census makes it difficult to get a real calculation of Vietnamese students, but here’s what they have:

2001 Census
Canadians of Vietnamese origin: 151410
Canadians of Vietnamese origin who are multiethnic: 32290 (~21.3% of 151410)
Southeast Asian total: 198880 (~76.1% of which are of Vietnamese origins)
Southeast Asian age 15-24: 32775 (~16.5% of 198880)

So the max is 33,000 Vietnamese Canadian students as of the year 2001. By projection based on percentages, we get ~25,000 Vietnamese youths ages 15-24. The number has to shrink when taking educational enrollment level into consideration (we want a breakdown into college-enrolled students, postsecondary vocational, and high school students). Also the number has to grow to reflect this year, since the data is 7 years old.
