In the past 30 years, the contributions of pioneer Vietnamese-Americans to the film industry have opened doors to mainstream media. Now is an exciting time to be Vietnamese as artists and storytellers, more than ever, are encouraged to speak and make a place for themselves. As successful filmmakers, this panel intimately understands the hardships of accomplishment and the strengthening experience of challenges as they lead Vietnamese-Americans into a new genre.
